Starting a new Journey

Hi everyone. This is me. My name is Deepti. I felt that my first post ought to share who I am and why I am here and why this blog?

So... I am a teacher. I teach English. And I love to teach the fun way.

A teacher who is more of a learner. I love to learn with my students. 

And this blog; It is never going to be boring, I promise. It will be fun.

The inspiration to write this blog is this journey I recently took. The journey began by an opportunity  of being on a fellowship. A good one trust me. I get to study at a US university (California State University, Chico)and teach in US for sometime... EXCITING... right...

I thought of keeping a track of my journey beginning here but I am going to talk about other experiences as well (Trust me I have many and from different cities from different parts o f the world). This blog is for anyone who would like to be part of my journey as a learner and is willing to communicate and participate in fruitful discussions. 

So this blog invites you all to ask questions, be a part of my journey and let us participate in discussions on pedagogy of English especially in ESL, EFL and ENL classrooms, But also other things, educational issues, and anything else around our schools, policy and planning. Direct questions by students are very welcome. 

I will keep it short and interactive.
